I am the founder of Sheriff Consulting (sheriffconsulting.com). We specialize in the design and delivery of assurance, accounting, and communication skill professional development courses. Sheriff Consulting strives to create a learning environment that is engaging, interactive, and effective.
Teaching and working with professionals in diverse and dynamic learning environments has been my passion and experience for over 15 years. As a qualified Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), I have worked with learners in both the U.S. and Canada to meet their training and development needs. Within the CPA profession, I have been recognized for my teaching (both live and online) and instructional design with testimonials and awards. My goal is to create an engaging, interactive and impactful learning environment using the latest research in adult pedagogy.
I am also a working actor and have acted in various stage and film productions. I am a graduate in improvisation from The Second City and a member of ACTRA (the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists).
