Made me think of past lack of psychological safety companies I worked for. My current state and how to improve in the future.
Excellent course Garth! I learned a lot which was easy because you make the material very entertaining!
This course gave me an insight of how CPA ethics were affected by transformative technology which could easily consume our daily life and affect our professional judgement.
I enjoyed the course. The session provided practical solutions for dealing with stress and anxiety and made it personal as the instructor and interviewee recounted how the pandemic affected them at home and at work. Thank you, Garth.
Very professional (presentation and content). Timely and relevant to today’s workplace.
Garth is very engaging and also has found great ways to help us engage with each other, to break up the sessions so that we’re not just sitting and listening to him talk for the entire session. The information presented thus far has been interesting. Looking forward to learning how to implement/relate the information we obtained today to our work with tomorrow’s session!
Great course material and instructor
Very useful information, relevant examples from different perspectives. Markedly different than many other online courses – this was obviously designed with pedagogical concepts and elements of instructional design to make the concepts meaningful and reinforce learning. Thank you!
The course covered the changes well and described concrete steps required following the course. Well presented and clearly defined.
Very interesting, interactive, and informative.
The use of pop culture and real-life, relevant examples really kept the course engaging.
The presentation was excellent in so many aspects! I loved the speaker and the topics discussed. I don’t know the magic formula that was used but the structure and length of each segment (theory, visuals, example storytelling, videos, poll, breaks, humour, etc.) definitely kept my attention span to want for more! Wonderful work overall. I would definitely recommend it to others.
Honestly, this was a refreshing training. It was nice to learn tips and tricks, but also the resources and extra reading materials are valuable as well – great to share with the management team as a whole. We are seeing a lot of issues with retention in majority of public accounting firms lately – people really want to be engaged and feel valued. Hopefully we can grow and help our employees, and ourselves, see value in the work and feel like part of the team. Thank you for a wonderful dialogue today.
Excellent webinar. Garth, you are very engaging. You are right 4 hours is a long time but since you mixed up delivery methods it did not seem like it was 4 hours. The pop culture elements were great.
